34 Church Rd, Brunswick, ME 04011 43.910465, -69.989076 is one of the entrances to the new Amtrak maintenance facilities and a good place to catch the morning trains as they are starting to get up to speed here.

Construction on the Amtrak Brunswick Layover Facility was halted for a while due to a homeowners association protest. They said they wanted Amtrak to come to Brunswick, but they didn't want any of the details that come with it. Sorry, but trains make noise and if you don't want the noise then you don't want the trains. Construction was finally completed in the end of 2016.
